Led the social communications campaign to support Silicon Valley Pet Project during #SVGives 2016.
SV Gives is an annual fundraising project involving dozens of Bay Area non-profits. For the Silicon Valley Pet Project, social and PR were the primary drivers for donations. Through our PDA (Purr-sonal Displays of Appreciation) campaign, we publicly thanked our donors, recruited new people to the cause and raised over $16K in donations in a 24-hour period.
Concepted and created Google Small Business' first multi-media Valentine's campaign - including social and site content.
To get small businesses into the Valentine's Day spirit, we created a campaign encouraging fans and friends to create and send digital postcards featuring their top three local spots. The #LoveSmallBiz campaign also included a series of social Valentines - digital cards with tips for small businesses to get ready for the holiday (like updating their SEO with Valentines keywords).
Brought a team of small business experts together to provide real-time help for #SmallBizSaturday
To celebrate the biggest small business holiday of the year, we teamed up with the Twitter Small Biz team to form a #SmallBizSquad. We invited small business owners to send us their most pressing questions and created a #SmallBizSquad landing page with a real-time feed of helpful tips. As the campaign took off, other small business thought leaders joined in on the squad. In the end, 20+ partners and experts (including Mailchimp, Square, Weebly, AmEx) provided real-time help and resources, generating over 41M impressions.
I write and contribute to the America's Small Business Development Center blog on behalf of Google.

For the Love of Small Business
Created a first of its kind interactive magazine for Cisco, in partnership with WIRED.
Imagine a magazine that changes every time you open it. We brought Cisco and WIRED together to create this futuristic tablet issue where everything from the ads to the editorial were fully immersive and interactive. A story on the migration habits of livestock connected to sensors on cows in Scotland. An article about urban planning infused real-time traffic feeds from the Santa Monica freeway. Through these real-time stores, we were truly bringing to life the phenomenon of The Internet of Everything.

Led the communication strategy and media planning for Doritos' most successful Super Bowl to date.
For Doritos' longest-running campaign, that was a difficult feat to accomplish. In year five, we doubled down and partnered with Pepsi Max to make this the biggest Super Bowl ever. This campaign saw the most user-generated submissions, the most user participation (votes) and we took 3 of the top 5 spots on the USA Today Super Bowl Ad Meter. CRUNCH!

Launched Microsoft's Instagram account with a global relay to connect and capture all those who #DoMore.
Microsoft had long been the company that enabled the world to do more. We used Instagram to embody this philosophy by putting the account in the hands of a National Geographic photographer and sending him around the world to capture everyday people and social media influencers doing amazing things.

Got holiday bakers engaged and in gear with a first-of-its-kind live-streamed prep kitchen.
To celebrate Ghirardelli's newest holiday baking recipes, we teamed up with Bon Appétit to create a live-streamed event where aspiring bakers could contribute their top kitchen queries and get real-time advice from the experts. Food blogger Jamie Lothridge and Bon Appétit Executive Chef Mary Nolan took live questions via Twitter and helped bakers everywhere get set for the holidays.

Launched an innovative use of the relatively new Hangouts API to inspire agency creatives to think creatively about tech.
We wanted to get advertisers and their agencies to see technology (specifically, Google+) in a new light - as a tool to help them create award-winning campaigns. So we played to their egos and competitive streak and built a digital Ping Pong game using the Google Hangouts API. Then we pit agencies head-to-head in a Ping Pong Hangout tournament during Advertising Week and let the creatives have at it with each other.

Cannes Lion-winning campaign brought Doritos' and Madden NFL to a new dimension.
We knew Doritos’ fans crave excitement in their entertainment like they do their chips. So we partnered with EA to bring Madden NFL in 3D for the first time. To celebrate this unprecedented occasion, we created a first-of-its-kind partnership with ESPN, launching the first-ever 3D homepage takeover on ESPN.com, using ESPN magazine to distribute 3D glasses, and turning the editorial photo spreads into 3D images.
Created and launched Google Small Business' first ever Social Media Month
We recognized that many small business owners struggled to understand the social web, so we designated September as Social Media Month and brought in experts to help small businesses succeed on the web. Each week, we had a different marketing pro from LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest and YouTube come in for a live Hangout On Air where small business owners could ask questions and get help in real-time.
Launched MINI USA's most ambitious and quirky car with a campaign that was just as off-the-wall.
To celebrate the launch of the MINI Cooper Clubman, a car that's just a bit longer, just a bit bigger and just a bit more odd than the original MINI and the convertible, we created a campaign called 'Zig. Zag. Zug.' While the campaign as a whole was far-reaching, I helped to bring Zug to the out-of-home campaigns, stunts (like the one pictured here), print media and broadcast. I guess you could say we Zugged where others Zagged.
Created a campaign to help get more businesses to update their photos on their Google business listing.
A picture is worth a thousand words - and for small business owners, having photos on their business listing can make a huge impact for their customers. To help small business owners make the most of their business photos on Google, we launched "Your Best Shot" a social engagement campaign to provide small business-specific photography tips and tricks. We helped small businesses get the best lighting for their products, take the best photos of their storefront and get personalized advice from a Google Trusted Photographer via Twitter Q&A.
